WOOD, Judge.

A fire occurred at the Marrs Mud Company warehouse in Lovington, New Mexico on February 5, 1982. Both the Lovington and Knowles Fire Departments responded to the fire. The complaint alleged that Moreno, a volunteer fireman with the Lovington Fire Department, and Nichols, a volunteer fireman with the Knowles Fire Department, suffered injuries in performing duties as firemen.
