The appellant, James Lisko, was indicted on seven counts of disposing of property mortgaged to the Farmers Home Administration (FmHA) with intent to defraud the agency in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 658. After a trial by jury the appellant was convicted on six of the seven counts, and was sentenced by the district court1 to six months imprisonment with a three year probation period to follow.
