The district court found that Inland Marine had violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, § 703(a)(1), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2(a)(1) (1976), and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (1976), by paying black employee Fletcher Houston a lower hourly wage than it paid white employees...
