Respondent determined deficiencies in petitioners' 1977 Federal income taxes as follows: (1) For petitioner Francis A. Muracca a deficiency of $4,306.64; and (2) for petitioner Camille V. Muracca a deficiency of $1,581.1 After concessions by Mr. Muracca, the remaining issues for decision are: (1) Whether payments made by Mr. Muracca to Mrs. Muracca during 1977 are alimony...
