This matter is before the court on appeal from the judgment of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas. The issue before this court is narrow in scope and addresses the question of whether the negligence of an independent contractor hired by a landlord can be imputed to the landlord when a tenant's property is damaged by the independent contractor's negligence.
