FACTS

On January 11, 1980, Dartha Watts, a bookkeeper at Ben Peabody's Exxon Station in Baton Rouge, left work between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. As she walked to her car, which was parked at the station, she noticed a black male standing and talking to another black male sitting in the driver's seat of an olive green Buick LaSabre.
