Appellant, Gregory Sockwell, is serving a sentence of 150 years in the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. He was convicted of armed robbery and, as a multiple offender, his sentence was enhanced. His conviction and sentence were affirmed by the Louisiana Supreme Court, State v.
