Plaintiffs, Mr. and Mrs. Lang Moore, Jr., filed suit for the loss of their home by fire, joining as defendants both the manufacturer and seller of an air conditioner which plaintiffs contend was defective and caused the fire. Mr. and Mrs. Lang Moore, Jr. also brought suit against a third defendant for allegedly advising them to install an improper circuit breaker which causally contributed to the fire.
