Carolyn Wall (defendant) and her mother, Dorothy Wall, were each charged by a single bill of information with one count of forgery and one count of felony theft in violation of La.R.S. 14:72 and 14:67, respectively. Defendant pled not guilty and after a jury trial was found guilty as charged on each count.1 The court sentenced defendant to five years at hard labor on each count to run concurrently.
