PER CURIAM.

Robert Lynn Thomas appeals from the district court's1 denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. He argues that he was deprived of his sixth amendment right to a speedy trial. We conclude that Thomas is barred by procedural default from obtaining federal habeas review of his claim, and we therefore affirm.
