Defendant appealed from an adverse judgment in a suit for damages arising from a "slip and fall", which occurred on premises owned by defendant and leased to plaintiff, Phillip House. Plaintiffs alleged that Karen House was climbing down an attic stairway when she slipped on water leaking from a defective air conditioning unit and fell, sustaining injury to her knee.
