Wilton Thomas sued Amoco Oil Company for breach of a contract for the lease of an Amoco service station in New Orleans. The Trial Judge held that Amoco breached the lease by converting the automobile repair and gasoline service station leased to Thomas into a self-service "pumper" station with no repair service bays. The Trial Judge rejected Amoco's reconventional demand for reformation of the lease and held Amoco liable to Thomas for special damages...
