NICHOLS, Justice.

After the Defendant, Chris C. Cadman, Sr., was convicted in Superior Court (Androscoggin County) of gross sexual misconduct, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253(1)(A), he appealed that conviction, contending he had been denied his right to a speedy trial "under the Maine and United States Constitutions."

We affirm the judgment of conviction.
