On March 31, 1983, appellant, Tanya Washington, was found guilty after a bench trial of sexual solicitation in violation of D.C.Code § 22-2701 (1981). She was sentenced on May 19, 1983 to a term of imprisonment of ninety days; execution of that sentence was suspended and appellant was placed on probation for one year.
