DOWNEY, Judge.

Robert Walton, a police officer, sued his employer, the City of Lake Worth, for wrongfully refusing to promote him. Appellee recovered damages in the amount of $75,000, together with $30,000 in attorney's fees, and the City appeals. Walton cross appeals from the court's denial of his motion for new trial to obtain additional damages for humiliation and mental anguish.
