On October 29, 1982 the Town of Schererville filed a complaint seeking a preliminary and a permanent injunction to enjoin as unsafe Northern Indiana Public Service Company's (NIPSCO) installation of overhead electric transmission wires.1 The town had not previously filed a complaint with the Public Service Commission (PSC) regarding this dispute.
