WHITHAM, Justice.

Appellant, Ronald Klett McDonald, appeals a conviction for murder. The jury assessed punishment at fifty years in the Texas Department of Corrections. In his second ground of error appellant contends that the refusal of the trial court to allow him to inspect the written statement his witness had made to the police was reversible error. We conclude that under the "use before the jury" rule the trial court erred in refusing to allow inspection. Accordingly...
