This is an appeal from a decision of the New Orleans Civil Service Commission affirming the New Orleans Police Department's demotion of plaintiff from the rank of Police Sergeant to the rank of Police Officer I. The reason for plaintiff's demotion was his alleged violation of the department's sick leave policy.
