This is a venue case. In 1978, plaintiff Grady E. Wooldridge sued defendants Perry Horine, Clinton Manges, and Duval County Ranch Company, a corporation, in the District Court of Williamson County. Each defendant filed a plea of privilege, to which controverting affidavits were filed by plaintiff. The trial court overruled all pleas of privilege. For clarity, the parties are referred to hereafter as "Wooldridge", "Horine", "Manges" and "DCRC...
