On May 12, 1981, defendant pled guilty to larceny from a person, MCL 750.357; MSA 28.589, and sentencing was deferred while defendant participated in a drug rehabilitation program. Subsequently, on September 29, 1981, defendant was sentenced to five years probation with the first six months to be spent in the county jail.
