OPINION

GONZALEZ, Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for aggravated robbery. The jury assessed a punishment of 25 years confinement and a fine of $5,000 dollars. Among other things, appellant contends that the trial court committed error at the punishment stage of the trial by admitting into evidence, over appellant's objection, testimony concerning a previous conviction of the appellant without proof that the conviction was a valid and final conviction...
