Defendant, Kirby Champagne, was charged by bill of information on November 19, 1981, with the crime of attempted aggravated arson, in violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and 14:51; simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, in violation of La.R.S. 14:62.2; and, manufacture and possession of a bomb without a license in violation of La.R.S. 14:54.3. Bond was set at $150,000.00.
