FAY, Circuit Judge:

Jean Leon was convicted of kidnapping and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He was sentenced to fifteen years of incarceration. After exhausting his state remedies Leon filed a petition for habeas corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1980). The district judge denied the petition. The only issue on appeal is whether Leon's post-arrest confession should have been suppressed as the product of earlier police threats...
