This appeal is from a take-nothing judgment rendered by the court against plaintiffs/appellants Maxwell and Dale in an action for breach of an option contract. The crucial questions on this appeal are: (1) May an optionee exercise an option by giving notice within the option period and tendering performance within a reasonable time thereafter when the contract is silent with respect to the method of exercising the option?
