In this case PPG Industries, Inc. (PPG) brought suit jointly and severally against American Petrofina, Inc., American Petrofina Company of Texas, and American Petrofina Marketing, Inc. (Fina) and Ayres Oil Co. Inc. and Jack Ayres, individually (Ayres), whereupon Ayres sued Fina.
