ROSS, Circuit Judge.

This action is before the court on appeal by a defendant convicted of five counts of interstate transportation of stolen property in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2314. For the reasons stated herein we hold that the district court1 lacked jurisdiction to decide this case.
