The appellant, George Bowen, brought this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 405(g) and 1383(c)(3) to obtain judicial review of a final decision of the appellee Secretary of Health and Human Services who denied his claim for disability insurance benefits and for supplemental security income benefits under Titles II and XVI of the Social Security Act respectively.
