Defendant, Eloise O. McCoy, was charged by bill of information with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98. She pled not guilty. Following a bench trial, she was found guilty and sentenced to pay a fine of $400.00 plus court costs, and in default of payment, to serve sixty days in the parish jail.
