The plaintiff, Helen Pusser, is the mother of Buford Pusser, former sheriff of McNairy County who is now deceased. At Buford Pusser's death on August 21, 1974, he left $250,000.00 to his mother and $260,000.00 to his daughter, Dwana Pusser, in a guardianship estate.
