The defendant, charged in a substitute information with robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (4), moved during his trial by jury to suppress testimony that might be given by two women who were present at the robbery and observed the defendant there, and who subsequently made photographic identifications of the defendant.
