RONEY, Circuit Judge:

Thomas B. Fullman was charged with capital murder, mayhem, and assault in connection with a May, 1979, bombing of the City Hall at Bessemer, Alabama. After a mistrial due to a hung jury, Fullman was acquitted of all charges in a second trial. He then brought a civil suit for damages under 42 U.S.C.A. § 1983 against fifteen public officials, witnesses and a bank based on the investigation, arrest, interrogation, indictment, and trial.
