This is an appeal occasioned by the grant of a partial summary judgment, made final pursuant to Rule 54(b), ARCP, in favor of Druid City Hospital Board (Druid City), a public hospital which serves the city and county of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Druid City is one of five defendants named by Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Skelton in an action which arose from Mr. Skelton's alleged injury during a ventral hernia repair performed at that hospital.
