This suit was originally brought by appellee, Reserve Equipment, Inc. (Reserve), to recover damages it suffered as a result of a fire which substantially destroyed a gas compressor leased by appellant, PGP Gas Products, Inc. (PGP), from Reserve. Reserve alleged two separate causes of action: negligence and breach of contract. The jury found no negligence but found in favor of Reserve on the breach of contract claim.
