JACKSON, J.

Appellant, Harold Caldwell, was indicted on two counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, and two counts of aggravated robbery, because of his alleged participation in events which occurred the night of May 19-20, 1980.

The victims of these crimes were Octavia Walker and Gordon Mattox. Walker testified that her car stalled at about midnight near the intersection of 131st Street and Miles Avenue....
