Appellant was charged by indictment by the Grand Jury of Gonzales County with the offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity under TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 71.02 (Vernon Supp.1985) for conspiring to commit the offense of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, a controlled substance. One hundred eighteen (118) individuals were implicated in the indictment, which alleged four hundred sixty-nine (469) specified overt acts. Appellant...
