This is a wrongful death action predicated upon common law negligence and the Texas Wrongful Death Statute. TEX. REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 4671 (Vernon Supp.1982-1983), and the Texas Survival Statute, TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 5525 (Vernon 1958).
