This is an unemployment compensation case arising from nurse lay-offs that occurred at Metropolitan Medical Center after the Minnesota Nurses Association gave the hospital a ten-day notice of intent to strike as required by Section 8(g) of the National Labor Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 158(g) (1983).
