These cases are before us because the trial courts held the defendants without bail prior to trial. In State v. David bail was revoked because defendant had threatened to kill witnesses. In State v. Munoz the trial court denied bail under the 1980 amendment to N.M. Const. article II, section 13 (Cum.Supp. 1984), which permits the district court to deny bail for sixty days when the defendant is accused of a felony and...
