The defendants, Darren Bailey and Pete Bailey, Jr., were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (R.S. 40:967). After trial by jury they were found guilty of the lesser offense of possession of cocaine (R.S. 40:967 C). Each was sentenced to be imprisoned for four years at hard labor. Each prison sentence was suspended and each defendant placed on supervised probation for five years, with the special condition that each...
