PIVARNIK, Justice.

Defendants-Appellants Bennett James Hobbs and Joseph Hernandez were found guilty of murder by a jury in the Porter Superior Court on June 4, 1981. On June 29, 1981, the trial judge sentenced Hobbs to fifty years imprisonment and Hernandez to forty years. Appellants now directly appeal raising several issues for our review. Since we find that the trial court erred by admitting evidence of prior unrelated criminal activity by Appellants, we will consider...
