Appellant was convicted of felony theft by a jury which assessed punishment at ten years, probated and a $5,000.00 fine. The Corpus Christi Court of Appeals affirmed in an unpublished opinion. We granted appellant's petition for discretionary review in order to examine the Court of Appeals' holding that the trial court did not abuse its discretion or deny appellant due process...
