Berkline Corporation has brought this action charging that Bank of Mississippi made material misrepresentations regarding the credit worthiness of Furniture City, Inc. Berkline says that it reasonably relied upon these representations and made credit sales of furniture to Furniture City and that it has suffered financial loss in consequence thereof.
