The defendant, Claudell L. Griffin, was charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:62.2. Pursuant to a plea bargain he pled guilty to a reduced charge of simple burglary in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:62 and was sentenced to four years at hard labor.
