OPINION

RANDALL, Judge.

This is a medical malpractice action brought against Dr. Eustermann, a family physician, by the patient and her husband. The complaint contains various counts alleging negligence and a claim for punitive damages. Upon defendant's motion, the trial court granted summary judgment on the punitive damages count. We granted plaintiffs' petition for discretionary review. We reverse and remand for trial.
