Respondent subdivision trustees brought suit on account against appellant homeowners in the circuit court for nonpayment of subdivision assessment for the years 1980-82. A subsequent assessment for 1983 was added to the petition by amendment. As a result the total claim for assessments was $390.00. On the day of trial the parties stipulated that appellants were indebted to respondent trustees for $390.00 as unpaid annual assessments and the trial court...
