This is an appeal from the District Court's denial of a federal habeas petition in which appellant, John Diaz, attacked his convictions on the ground that (1) his guilty pleas were unknowingly and involuntarily made; (2) he received ineffective assistance of counsel; and (3) the imposition of separate sentences for two counts of possession and intent to distribute two separate pounds of heroin on the same day constitutes Double Jeopardy...
