In this custody proceeding we granted a stay order and ordered portions of the record to facilitate our consideration of the application of the father for a discretionary review of the trial court's judgment sustaining an exception of res judicata and declining to exercise jurisdiction under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA), La.R.S. 13:1700 et seq. We reverse in part and remand with instructions...
