Plaintiff, Walter Eisen, an employee of defendant Faribault State Hospital, was discharged from employment. Pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement between Minnesota State Employees Union AFSCME, Council No. 6 (union), and the State of Minnesota (employer), the propriety of the discharge was submitted to arbitration before an arbitrator selected in accordance with the agreement.
