This appeal involves a petition for determination of heirship brought before the Probate Division of the Circuit Court. Mark Dowdy died intestate leaving no surviving spouse. Mark I. Dowdy and Michael Dowdy, his two legitimate sons, were appointed co-administrators of the estate.
