No. 2-84-161-CR.

675 S.W.2d 351 (1984)

Roy HOLLOMON, Appellant, v. The STATE of Texas, State.

Court of Appeals of Texas, Fort Worth.

September 5, 1984.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Carlton McLarty, Lubbock, for appellant.

Jim Bob Darnell, Dist. Atty., and Hollis M. Browning, Asst. Dist. Atty., Lubbock, for the State.

Before HUGHES, BURDOCK and HILL, JJ.

OPINION

HILL, Justice.

The appellant, Roy Hollomon, appeals from his conviction by a jury of the offense of theft. The jury assessed his punishments at six years in the Texas Department of Corrections. Hollomon urges that the trial court erred in not dismissing the indictment due to violations of the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act, the Texas Speedy Trial Act, and the speedy trial provisions of the Texas and United States Constitutions.
